LG Egypt Supports “Better Home” Initiative to Empower People with Disabilities in Luxor and Cairo
LG Egypt announced the continuation of its “Better Home” initiative, in cooperation with Misr El Kheir Foundation, to support the marriage of young people with disabilities in the governorates of Luxor and Cairo. The initiative is implemented under LG’s global slogan “Life’s Good” and reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to improving quality of life and promoting social inclusion.
The initiative has been rolled out across several villages and neighborhoods in both governorates, in line with Misr El Kheir Foundation’s efforts to facilitate marriage and support young men and women with disabilities. It aims to strengthen family cohesion and contribute to greater social stability by helping beneficiaries establish safe and stable homes.
As part of its contribution, LG Egypt provided a range of modern home appliances, including top-load washing machines and 43-inch smart TVs, in addition to technical support and installation services, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience for beneficiary families as they begin their married lives.
The “Better Home” initiative builds on LG Egypt’s broader community engagement efforts over the past three years, during which the company has supported more than 5,000 beneficiaries across over 63 villages nationwide. These efforts span multiple social development areas, including marriage facilitation for underprivileged families, blood donation campaigns, community school support, healthcare initiatives, Ramadan food box programs, and support for orphanages, the elderly, non-eligible families, and people with disabilities.
Commenting on the initiative, Mohamed El-Gadawy, Marketing and Public Relations Manager at LG Egypt, said the program reflects LG’s belief in the role of smart technology in improving everyday life and empowering Egyptian families. He noted that the initiative embodies the true spirit of “Life’s Good” by supporting local communities and helping families build a better future within their homes.
Eng. Ahmed Youssef, Director of Direct Aid at Misr El Kheir Foundation, emphasized that the foundation’s initiatives stem from its commitment to supporting deserving families across all governorates. He praised the longstanding partnership with LG Egypt, highlighting its tangible and positive impact on local communities over the years.
LG Egypt reaffirmed that the “Better Home” initiative represents an important phase within its long-term strategy to support sustainable development in Egypt, noting that the company plans to expand the initiative to additional governorates as part of its continued commitment to empowering underprivileged families and enhancing quality of life.
