Orange and «Shaghalni» Introduce AI-Driven Hiring in Egypt

Orange Egypt, the leading provider of digital innovation and telecommunications services, has announced the launch of the first AI-powered recruitment experience in Egypt, delivered exclusively in partnership with the online hiring platform «Shaghalni». The new initiative marks a major shift in the evolution of digital hiring, enabling young jobseekers across the country to access real employment opportunities through a seamless, smart, and fully digital process.

The innovative service transforms the traditional job search into an integrated digital journey that allows candidates in all governorates to apply for suitable roles free of charge via Orange retail stores nationwide. The experience leverages advanced digital tools to support jobseekers and bridge gaps in access to employment.

Smart digital solutions opening new pathways for thousands of jobseekers

Through the new initiative, jobseekers can conduct advanced AI-driven virtual interviews designed to assess skills accurately and efficiently. Candidates can scan a QR code available at Orange stores, activate free internet via the MyOrange application, and proceed directly to the «Shaghalni» platform. From there, they can select preferred job opportunities and complete their virtual interview. Those who pass the AI evaluation move on to final in-person interviews at the hiring company.

Multiple major employers in Egypt are participating in this initiative, offering a wide range of real job opportunities. Among them are the Mansour Group, Mars, El Sewedy Electric, Saint-Gobain, and several other leading companies partnering with «Shaghalni» to support youth employment across diverse industries.

Empowering youth and promoting fairness in access to job opportunities

The initiative reflects Orange Egypt’s commitment to promoting equal access to employment by using technology to empower youth—whether university graduates or technical education holders—to secure suitable, competitive job opportunities through modern and efficient digital tools. The program also aligns with national efforts to expand employment, strengthen the digital economy, and support Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development.

Ahmed El Abd: Orange is a partner in building the future of Egypt’s youth

«We are proud of this partnership with ‘Shaghalni’, which opens new horizons for thousands of young Egyptians to explore their career paths. Through this initiative, we provide an innovative AI-powered tool that helps young people reach the job opportunities best suited to their skills. Empowering youth lies at the heart of our national mission and reflects our commitment to supporting Egypt’s digital transformation journey.»
