Telecom Egypt Signs Three Health-Tech MoUs to Advance WE HealthCloud

On the sidelines of the Global Conference on Population, Health, and Human Development (PHDC 2025), Telecom Egypt announced the signing of three Memoranda of Understanding with key healthcare technology partners to expand and enhance its digital health platform, WE HealthCloud. The agreements aim to integrate advanced AI-powered clinical decision support solutions (AI-CDSS), comprehensive hospital automation systems, telemedicine services, and patient experience enhancement tools, reinforcing the company’s leadership in digital health transformation across Egypt.

WE HealthCloud operates within locally secured data centers and was developed in collaboration with global health-tech leaders to unify the healthcare experience across hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and diagnostic centers. The platform offers a fully integrated ecosystem including electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), hospital and clinic management systems (HIMS), revenue cycle management (RCM), pharmacy, radiology, and lab systems, telemedicine, patient portals, and advanced analytical dashboards, fully compliant with local standards and available with an Arabic interface.

As part of its new collaborations:

WE x Vezeeta: Enhancing Digital Healthcare Integration

Telecom Egypt signed an MoU with Vezeeta, the leading health-tech platform in the Middle East and Africa, to explore joint integration between Vezeeta’s solutions and the WE HealthCloud ecosystem. The collaboration will focus on deploying digital tools that improve service delivery, strengthen data interoperability, and expand access to healthcare services for providers and patients, supporting nationwide digital transformation in healthcare.

AI-Powered Clinical Decision Support with GuidelineX and DTS

A second MoU was signed with GuidelineX, a global clinical AI platform, and its local agent DTS, to integrate advanced AI-driven clinical decision support tools and real-time medical analytics into WE HealthCloud. These technologies will help physicians make more precise decisions based on global clinical guidelines and live clinical data, enhancing diagnostic accuracy, reducing medical errors, and accelerating the adoption of data-driven healthcare practices across Egyptian hospitals.

Hospital Automation and Tele-ICU Solutions with zMed and DTS

Telecom Egypt also signed an MoU with zMed and DTS to introduce smart hospital automation and remote intensive care (Tele-ICU) capabilities through WE HealthCloud. These solutions provide real-time monitoring of ICU patients, early detection of clinical deterioration, and AI-driven analysis of vital signs—significantly improving patient safety and reducing mortality rates.
