Banque Misr participates in the ”International Youth Day” to support financial inclusion under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt

Stemming from Banque Misr's keenness to support the state's efforts to achieve financial inclusion and in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 for sustainable development, the bank has offered many free benefits and offers on the occasion of "International Youth Day" under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt. This comes from the bank's belief in the importance of achieving financial inclusion to enable all segments of society to access financial products and services that meet their different needs, including savings accounts, current accounts, payment and transfer services, insurance, financing, and credit.

The bank is keen to provide many free benefits and offers that serve all customers, especially women and youth, as they are the largest segment of society, throughout the event period, which extends from August 1 to 15, 2025. These benefits include opening current and savings accounts (individuals) with an exemption from account opening fees, the minimum account opening balance, and stamp duty fees (current and savings accounts in Egyptian pounds (standard and Islamic), Al-Mongez accounts (standard and Islamic current and savings), youth accounts, Al-Momeken savings account, Hawalati current account in Egyptian pounds / US dollars). In addition, it is possible to issue a free instant debit card with the accounts, and it is possible to obtain a prepaid Meeza card exempt from issuance fees. Customers from 15 to 21 years old can open accounts for free and issue a free BM instant debit card as part of the youth program. When subscribing to and activating the BM Wallet electronic wallet, 20% of the first financial transaction will be refunded during the event period, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

Bank employees will be present outside the branches in many gathering places throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt during the event period to promote the bank's products and services.

Banque Misr is considered one of the first banks to contribute to financial education and inclusion since its launch in Egypt in 2014. The bank is always keen to participate in all initiatives and campaigns launched by the Central Bank of Egypt, especially campaigns to support financial inclusion and support women by providing various financial services and supporting entrepreneurs with micro-projects, which contributes significantly to supporting the Egyptian economy and raising the standard of living for individuals.
