B.TECH Supports Public Sector Workforce Development Through Comprehensive Training Program for Sednawi and Benzion Employees

B.TECH, Egypt’s leading retailer of home appliances and consumer electronics, has concluded a specialized training program in collaboration with Sednawi and Benzion—subsidiaries of the Holding Company for Tourism and Hotels—aimed at upskilling more than 60 employees from both public-sector firms.
Delivered through B.TECH Academy, the company’s dedicated training arm, the program provided participants with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in modern sales techniques, customer service excellence, leadership, planning, performance management, and essential office competencies. The initiative reflects B.TECH’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and its belief in the power of knowledge transfer to drive organizational success across Egypt’s retail landscape.
The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Khattab, Chairman and Managing Director of B.TECH, Haitham Rabie, Executive Managing Director of Sednawi and Buy-Sell for Manufactured Products, and Ehab Abdel Moneim, Head of Operations at Benzion, alongside senior executives from all three companies. The event concluded with the distribution of graduation certificates to participating employees in celebration of their achievement.
Dr. Mahmoud Khattab emphasized that the initiative aligns with B.TECH’s long-standing vision of supporting human capital development across Egypt’s retail sector.
> “We established B.TECH Academy more than 13 years ago with the goal of offering practical, industry-relevant training not only to our own employees but also to retail professionals across the country—completely free of charge,” he said. “We believe continuous learning and professional development are key pillars of institutional success. Through this initiative, we reaffirm our role in empowering people and contributing to national development goals, particularly those outlined in Egypt’s Vision 2030.”
He further noted that hundreds of professionals in the appliance sales and distribution sectors have benefited from B.TECH Academy programs, and the company remains committed to expanding its training efforts to raise service quality and workforce competency nationwide.
Commenting on the partnership, Haitham Rabie expressed his appreciation for B.TECH’s effort and the value added to Sednawi and Benzion employees.
> “This program was more than a typical training—it was an investment in our most important asset: our people,” he stated. “We take pride in this collaboration, which has helped elevate employee skills through a rich blend of theory and hands-on practice. We look forward to building on this momentum through a strategic partnership that delivers lasting value to the public sector.”
B.TECH Academy stands out as a pioneering initiative in workforce development in Egypt, offering specialized training in sales, customer service, and technical product knowledge. With all programs provided at no cost, the academy plays a vital role in enhancing service quality and developing a skilled labor force in the home appliances and electronics sector.
