Dalia Khorchid, CEO and Managing Director of Beltone Holding, has secured the third position in the financial services category of Forbes Middle East’s Sustainability Leaders 2026 list, marking her third consecutive year on the ranking. This year’s list recognizes 145 executives across 17 sectors, including 14 Egyptian leaders.

The recognition reflects Beltone Holding’s continued efforts to integrate sustainability into its financial and investment activities through financing solutions and initiatives designed to improve resource efficiency and encourage more sustainable practices.

In 2025, Beltone’s headquarters received Level 2 certification under the EDGE green building rating system for meeting standards related to energy, water and resource efficiency. Beltone Securities Trading also obtained a license from the Financial Regulatory Authority to trade carbon emission reduction certificates and their futures contracts, becoming the first company in Egypt to receive the authorization.

Sustainable Finance and Specialized Products

In June 2025, Beltone Leasing and Factoring secured $20 million in financing, comprising $10 million each from the SANAD Fund for MSME and the Green for Growth Fund. The funding aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises, improve resource efficiency and expand clean energy solutions.

Beltone has also developed six sustainable finance products covering energy efficiency, renewable energy, biogas, carbon certificates, green buildings and sustainable agriculture. Its services further include advisory support for transactions that promote food security, alongside investment banking services linked to sustainability.

Environmental Awareness in Schools

The company’s sustainability efforts extend beyond financing and investment to environmental education. Through educational programs and interactive games designed to build students’ understanding of sustainability, Beltone has reached more than 16,700 students across 100 schools in 15 governorates.

Khorchid’s continued inclusion in the Forbes Middle East ranking comes as sustainability gains importance across the financial sector. The recognition highlights the role of business leaders in developing financing solutions and initiatives that connect economic growth with environmental responsibility, supporting sustainable development priorities in Egypt and the wider region.
