A New Living Concept: Central Swimmable Lake and Sandy Beaches

SODIC, a leading real estate developer in Egypt, has announced the launch of "The Lakes," the newest phase within its "SODIC East" development in East Cairo. The new phase comes with prices starting from EGP 6.7 million and flexible payment plans extending up to 10 years with zero down payment.

The vision for "The Lakes" centers on delivering a lifestyle that seamlessly integrates water features with natural surroundings. At its heart lies a central swimmable lake featuring sandy beaches and a private island, alongside interconnected green pathways and multiple lakes that link the various residential clusters—offering residents a living experience that combines privacy, leisure, and nature.

Diverse Residential Offerings & Flexible “Flexi Plus Finish”

"The Lakes" offers a wide variety of unit types, ranging from 1- to 4-bedroom apartments and duplexes, as well as units with private gardens and penthouses featuring expansive terraces to cater to diverse client needs.

Units are offered under the "Flexi Plus Finish" model, giving buyers the flexibility to select their final finishes according to their personal preferences. Units will be delivered after completing core structural and foundational works, fully prepared for the final finishing touches. This includes walls ready for final paint coats, floors prepared for marble or HDF installation, along with completed electrical wiring ready for switches and outlets, and plumbing infrastructure set for final sanitary ware installation.

SODIC East Milestones: 1,475 Units Delivered & 5 Neighborhoods Completed

Spanning 655 acres in East Cairo, the SODIC East master project continues to make significant strides in construction, development, and unit handovers.

To date, a total of 1,475 residential units have been handed over, alongside the full completion of five distinct residential neighborhoods:

Ivy

Jade

Gardenia

Azailya

Camellia

Furthermore, the construction completion rate in the Orchid neighborhood has reached approximately 99%, signaling the final stages of completion for the district.

Execution Rates & Handover Timelines for Remaining Neighborhoods

Construction work continues across the remaining residential phases according to the master development timeline:

Oak Neighborhood: Phase 1 execution has reached approximately 65% in preparation for upcoming handovers, while Phase 2 execution stands at around 35%.

Amberwood Neighborhood: Completion stands at roughly 15%, with unit deliveries scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Opening of SODIC Sports Club & Progress on the Retail Zone

On the amenities and services front, the first phase of the SODIC Sports Club has officially opened its doors to members, introducing one of East Cairo's largest sports facilities offering a wide range of athletic and social activities.

Simultaneously, execution of Phase 1 of the commercial/retail zone has reached 70%, with preparations underway for the opening of "Matcha" this coming November—a new dining, shopping, and entertainment destination within the project.
