“Siemens Talk” Event Gathers 1,500 Students at Alexandria Library to Shape the Future of AI and Technology

Strategic Partnership to Nurture Young Talent

With the participation of over 1,500 students and recent graduates from various Egyptian universities, Siemens Mobility and Siemens Digital Industries organized the second edition of the "Siemens Talk" student forum at the Library of Alexandria. Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the event coincided with Siemens' celebration of 125 years of operations in Egypt, aiming to transfer knowledge and bridge the gap between youth and industry experts.

Academic Collaboration and Regional Expansion Beyond Cairo

The event was attended by prominent government officials, academic leaders, and Siemens executives. Organized in partnership with the Library of Alexandria, the forum collaborated with key academic partners, including Alexandria University, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), and Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST). Choosing Alexandria follows the success of last year's "Mobility Talk 2025" summit in Cairo, highlighting the company's commitment to extending knowledge sharing across Egyptian governorates.

Cutting-Edge Applications in AI and Digital Transformation

The agenda featured panel discussions, technical workshops, mock interviews, and career development sessions. Participants explored the latest in automation solutions, smart infrastructure, sustainable transportation, and practical applications of artificial intelligence in industrial innovation to prepare for future job market demands.

Leadership Vision: Investing in Human Capital

Leon Soulier, Executive Vice President for Major Projects and CEO for Middle East and Africa at Siemens Mobility, emphasized that the passion of Egyptian youth directly contributes to shaping a better technological future for sustainable transport. Meanwhile, Mostafa El-Bagoury, CEO of Siemens Egypt, stated that celebrating 125 years in Egypt reinforces their primary priority: investing in human capital and developing young talent.

Promising Innovations at the "One Young Innovation" Exhibition

A key highlight of the forum was the "One Young Innovation" exhibition, which showcased innovative projects and ideas developed by promising young innovators. Specialized technical sessions provided actionable insights into emerging technologies and career opportunities, reflecting Siemens' long-term commitment to sustainable development and empowering future leaders.
