NTRA Concludes Academic Year Programs to Support Youth, Foster Innovation
Over the course of nearly 10 months, the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) organized programs and initiatives for students at universities and higher technological institutes, aiming to upskill youth, advance scientific research and innovation, and align academic education with labor market needs.
Programs included a summer training course that gave around 100 students hands-on training in cybersecurity, 5G networks, frequency spectrum, data analytics, the Internet of Things (IoT), type approval, and mobile phone usage governance.
NTRA also organized the Graduation Projects Competition, which featured more than 60 projects from universities and educational institutions nationwide. The projects covered vital sectors such as mobility, healthcare, education, telecommunications, and network management.
The Authority also supported several scientific and academic conferences and events organized by Egyptian universities, as part of its efforts to advance scientific research and academic engagement. The events fostered knowledge exchange among students, researchers, and specialists.
Through these activities, NTRA continued its work to develop qualified national talent, support innovation and scientific research, and connect academic knowledge with the needs of industry and the labor market
