Jumia Group CEO Visits Supplier Partners and Alexandria Delivery Hub to Support Expansion in the Egyptian Market
Francis Dufay, CEO of Jumia Group, undertook a field visit to Egypt that included a number of supplier partners in the city of Tanta, alongside a visit to Jumia’s delivery hub in Alexandria, as part of the company’s continued commitment to strengthening its presence in the Egyptian market and supporting its expansion plans.
During the visit, Dufay met with Jumia’s partners and operations staff, gaining firsthand insight into the workflow of day-to-day operations. He also held direct meetings with local teams who play a key role in delivering the company’s services to customers.
Jumia stated that these visits reflect its commitment to staying close to its partners, customers, and local teams, in a way that strengthens collaboration and supports the continued development of its services across Egypt’s governorates.
The visit comes as Jumia continues to execute its expansion plans into Egypt’s secondary cities — including Tanta and Alexandria — by strengthening its network of suppliers and logistics services. This continued focus on customers and vendors across Egypt contributes to enhancing the customer experience, expanding the scope of e-commerce, and supporting the growth of the digital economy in the Egyptian market.
