Central Bank of Egypt Launches 5th Cohort of ”Generative AI in Finance” Training Program
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has launched the fifth cohort of its specialized training program, "Generative AI in Finance." The initiative is designed to equip professionals and specialists within the banking and financial sectors with the critical technical skills required to excel in an increasingly AI-driven global economy.
The program is delivered through the Digital Academy, an educational platform launched by the CBE's FinTech Egypt initiative to build the digital capabilities of banking personnel. The academy executes this flagship curriculum in strategic partnership with the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) and the Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CFTE) based in the United Kingdom.

The comprehensive curriculum covers several advanced technological and strategic areas, including:
AI Foundations & Language Tech: Understanding the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and the practical application of Large Language Models (LLMs).
Financial Analytics: Leveraging predictive analytics and AI-enhanced financial modeling to optimize institutional forecasting.
Operational Efficiency: Utilizing Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications to support executive decision-making and streamline back-office workflows.
Governance & Strategy: Navigating regulatory frameworks, compliance instructions, and legal considerations, while framing corporate strategies to lead AI-driven digital transformation.
