Azentio Launches AI-Powered E-Invoicing Solution in the UAE Ahead of 2027 Mandatory Implementation
Singapore-based Azentio Software, a leading provider of technology solutions for the banking, financial services, insurance, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) sectors, has announced the launch of its integrated e-invoicing solution in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This follows its pre-approval as an accredited service provider by the UAE Ministry of Finance, a move aimed at helping businesses prepare for the mandatory e-invoicing mandate set to take effect in January 2027.
The company explained that the new solution is fully integrated into the Azentio ERP platform, enabling UAE-based companies to seamlessly comply with the e-invoicing requirements issued by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA). This is achieved through direct integration between ERP platforms and other systems, alongside the deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance invoice accuracy, minimize manual intervention, accelerate compliance procedures, and improve the efficiency of financial operations.
Azentio emphasized that the launch aligns with its strategy to expand investments in developing tailored ERP solutions for the UAE market. This supports the country's vision for digital transformation, upgrading the financial and tax reporting ecosystem, enhancing regulatory compliance, and boosting the efficiency of corporate financial management.
E-Invoicing
The solution supports the UAE's approved e-invoicing requirements by being fully compliant with the PEPPOL network and the structured e-invoice standard PINT AE. It covers various transaction types, including sales invoices, credit notes, self-billing, and export documents.
Furthermore, the solution offers a comprehensive e-invoicing lifecycle, starting from generating e-invoice files in PINT AE XML format, seamlessly routing them to accredited service providers, and ultimately transmitting the data to the FTA. It provides pre-validation tools for mandatory fields, format accuracy, and approved codes, complemented by comprehensive audit trails to support auditing and compliance processes.
The company noted that the built-in AI technologies represent one of the solution's most prominent features. These capabilities assist financial teams in increasing billing accuracy, detecting anomalies early, strengthening compliance controls, and reducing reliance on manual procedures throughout the e-invoicing lifecycle. Moreover, it processes, validates, and enriches operational data within ERP environments, enabling the issuance of audit-ready invoices and offering a more holistic view of financial operations.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Azentio added that the solution bridges ERP operations with the PEPPOL network and FTA systems, minimizing the need to switch between disparate platforms and ensuring invoice accuracy prior to submission. It also features interactive dashboards, real-time alerts, monitoring tools, and integrated audit logs, granting finance teams clear visibility into all invoicing, reporting, and compliance activities.
The company explained that the solution leverages a broad array of AI capabilities within the Azentio ERP platform, including automated data extraction, intelligent information validation, anomaly detection, document processing, and financial workflow automation. This contributes to reducing human intervention, enhancing data quality, and providing real-time business intelligence insights to support faster and more accurate decision-making.
The platform also provides capabilities driven by AI and natural language processing, along with contextual real-time assistance. This empowers finance teams to accelerate billing processes, reinforce oversight, and advance financial operations using smarter and more efficient tools.
Harikrishnan Venkataraman, Head of ERP at Azentio, stated that securing the status of a pre-approved service provider marks a significant milestone that underscores the company's commitment to supporting UAE businesses in preparing for regulatory and digital transformation. He elaborated that the AI-powered e-invoicing solution helps organizations comply with FTA requirements, improve billing accuracy, maximize the value of financial data, and enhance the quality of operational decisions.
The New Technology
He added that the new technology is designed to operate seamlessly with both the Azentio ERP platform and third-party ERP systems. This provides a unified environment to automate financial processes, reduce manual workload, and boost audit and compliance efficiency. He reaffirmed that the solution's launch reflects Azentio's dedication to assisting UAE enterprises through the upcoming phase of digital transformation and e-invoicing.
