Egyptian Pound Exchange Rates Stabilize as US Dollar Trades Near 49 EGP

Foreign and Arab currency exchange rates against the Egyptian Pound (EGP) exhibited relative stability during today's trading, Monday, July 6, 2026. According to the latest official exchange updates, the US dollar continues to trade near the 49 EGP mark.

The US dollar was recorded at 48.92 EGP for buying and 49.02 EGP for selling. Meanwhile, the Euro reached 55.9058 EGP for buying and 56.1623 EGP for selling, while the British Pound (Sterling) stood at 65.2495 EGP for buying and 65.5055 EGP for selling.

Regarding Arab currencies, the Saudi Riyal traded at 13.0246 EGP for buying and 13.0707 EGP for selling. The UAE Dirham was quoted at 13.3058 EGP for buying and 13.3475 EGP for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar, maintaining its position as the highest-valued currency in the market, registered 152.50 EGP for buying and 162.3717 EGP for selling.

For other global currencies, the Swiss Franc recorded 60.7929 EGP for buying and 61.0918 EGP for selling. The Canadian Dollar stood at 34.0323 EGP for buying and 34.5552 EGP for selling, while the Australian Dollar registered 33.8625 EGP for buying and 34.0444 EGP for selling. Additionally, the rate for 100 Japanese Yen was 30.0778 EGP for buying and 30.4359 EGP for selling, while the Swedish Krona reached 5.0448 EGP for buying and 5.0907 EGP for selling.
