Egyptian Food Industries Trade Mission Kicks Off Intensive B2B Meetings on Second Day in Casablanca
The Egyptian food industries trade mission to the Kingdom of Morocco continues its activities for the second day in Casablanca. Today marked the launch of bilateral (B2B) meetings between the participating Egyptian companies and their Moroccan counterparts—including importers and distributors—hosted at the Hyatt Regency Casablanca.
High Moroccan Turnout The matchmaking sessions are witnessing extensive participation from the Moroccan business community. The number of attending Moroccan importers and institutional buyers is projected to exceed 200 commercial enterprises. This robust turnout clearly reflects the growing local interest in Egyptian food products and highlights highly promising opportunities for commercial cooperation between the two nations.
Forging Direct Partnerships The Egyptian delegation comprises 31 companies representing the food processing, printing, and packaging sectors. Numerous direct commercial negotiations are already underway, strategically aimed at building new partnerships, opening robust distribution channels within the Moroccan market, and exploring diverse expansion opportunities across various food sectors.
This mission operates under the strategic framework of the Food Export Council, which is intensifying its efforts to enhance the penetration of Egyptian food products into vital African and Arab markets, thereby increasing the volume of trade and investment exchange between Egypt and Morocco.
