e& Egypt’s “Farhet El-Eid” Initiative Brings the Spirit of Eid Closer to Burn Survivors and Their Families

During Eid, simple moments of joy often become the ones people cherish the most. Yet for some, the occasion can pass far from the usual celebrations and festive atmosphere. With this in mind, e& Egypt launched “Farhet El-Eid” initiative in collaboration with Ahl Masr Center for Inclusion and Empowerment, affiliated with Ahl Masr Foundation and Hospital for Burn Treatment. and the Egyptian Clothing Bank, aiming to share the joy and spirit of Eid Al Adha with burn survivors and their families to bring moments of happiness and warmth to their hearts.

The initiative comes as part of e& Egypt’s broader commitment to strengthening its social impact through initiatives centered around creating meaningful human connections, standing close to communities in need, and sharing moments that carry real emotional value in people’s lives.

The initiative began at the company’s headquarters, where e& Egypt employees took part in a volunteering day dedicated to preparing and packaging new clothing in collaboration with the Egyptian Clothing Bank, reflecting a culture rooted in community engagement and volunteerism, while reinforcing the concept of social responsibility as an integral part of the company’s culture rather than seasonal efforts.

The initiative later extended to Ahl Masr Center for Inclusion and Empowerment through a fully integrated celebration that included entertainment activities for children and families, the distribution of clothes and gifts, as well as heartfelt visits to patients in the care unit. The event aimed to share the joy of Eid with families and offer moments of comfort and inclusion during the occasion, reflecting e& Egypt’s commitment to adopting initiatives with a sustainable human impact through partnerships with institutions that have tangible expertise and meaningful contributions on the ground, enabling support to reach beneficiaries in a more impactful and personal way, as highlighted by Eng. Ahmed Imbabi, the Brand, Marketing Communication, Corporate Reputation & Research Director at e& Egypt.

At a time when the role of the private sector in supporting humanitarian and social causes continues to grow in importance, e& Egypt remains focused on initiatives that strengthen social solidarity and promote the values of inclusion and community support, driven by its belief that the simplest human moments can create the greatest impact in people’s lives.
