Agricultural Bank of Egypt Scales Up ”Sekkat Kheir” Initiative to Support Vulnerable Families Ahead of Eid Al-Adha

The Agricultural Bank of Egypt (ABE) has intensified its humanitarian mission, "Sekkat Kheir" (Path of Goodness), aimed at providing essential food supplies to tens of thousands of underprivileged families nationwide. As part of its 2026 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, ABE leadership, headed by CEO Mohamed Abu El-Saoud, is coordinating with provincial governors to distribute food coupons. These vouchers allow families to purchase meat and basic commodities from "Aman" outlets, ensuring they can celebrate Eid Al-Adha with dignity and security.

Mira Youssef, Head of Corporate Communications at ABE, stated that the initiative is designed to align with the presidential "Decent Life" (Haya Karima) goals, fostering social solidarity across all Egyptian governorates, including remote border regions. By leveraging its vast institutional reach, the bank is transitioning from traditional philanthropy to a sustainable social safety net model. This proactive approach underscores ABE’s dual role as a developmental financial pillar and a committed national advocate for the welfare of rural and marginalized communities.
