inDrive and Misr El Kheir Empower 327 Egyptian Students with Future-Ready AI and Coding Skills
inDrive, the global mobility and urban services platform, in partnership with the Scientific Research and Innovation Sector at Misr El Kheir Foundation, has successfully concluded a transformative digital literacy program. The four-month initiative equipped 327 students—aged 9 to 16—from Cairo, Fayoum, and Sohag with essential programming and Artificial Intelligence (AI) competencies.
The program specifically targeted the children of inDrive captains and students in community schools, bridging the digital divide in underserved areas. To ensure long-term sustainability, the initiative also trained 30 local facilitators, localizing digital knowledge within these communities. Alaa Al Din Shalaby, inDrive Country Manager, stated: “We believe every child deserves access to future-ready skills. This program prepares them for a rapidly evolving labor market, regardless of their background.”
