Hisham Ezz Al-Arab, Managing Director and CEO of the Commercial International Bank (CIB – Egypt), has addressed the recent temporary disruption in the bank’s mobile banking services. In a direct statement via his account on X, Ezz Al-Arab emphasized that technical malfunctions are an inherent possibility in any digital ecosystem, regardless of the sophistication of the underlying infrastructure.

Clarifying the scope of the incident, the CEO noted that the issue was a "temporary technical glitch" lasting only one day. He reassured clients and stakeholders that CIB’s vital operations—including its extensive ATM network, card transactions, and physical branch services—remained fully operational throughout the period.
