Cryptocurrencies Post Broad Gains as Bitcoin Surges Above $71,000
Cryptocurrencies recorded broad gains over the past 24 hours, with most major digital assets moving higher amid a notable increase in trading volumes and improving investor sentiment in global markets.
Bitcoin rose by 4.14% during the last 24 hours to reach approximately $71,050, while Ethereum climbed 2.89% to around $2,067.77. Meanwhile, the stablecoin Tether remained largely unchanged near $1, posting a marginal gain of 0.01%.
BNB increased by around 3% to $647.56, while XRP rose 4.18% to $1.41. USD Coin remained stable near $1, recording a slight increase of 0.01%.
Among other major cryptocurrencies, Solana gained 3.52% to approximately $87.25, while Tron rose 0.85% to $0.2855. Dogecoin posted stronger gains of 4.85%, reaching about $0.095.
Cardano advanced 3.56% to $0.2667, while Bitcoin Cash edged up 0.16% to $450.61. Hyperliquid recorded one of the strongest performances, surging 11.24% to $34.83.
Elsewhere, UNUS SED LEO increased 0.63% to $9.11, Chainlink gained 3.40% to $9.12, and Monero rose slightly by 0.12% to around $349.97.
Meanwhile, Ethena USDe remained relatively stable at $0.9996, rising 0.04%, while Canton gained 0.73% to $0.1486, and DAI remained steady at around $1 with a 0.01% increase.
Among other cryptocurrencies, Stellar jumped 7.04% to $0.1609, while World Liberty Financial USD rose 0.02% to $0.9994, and Hedera increased 1.12% to $0.0967.
The CoinMarketCap 20 Index, which tracks the performance of the largest cryptocurrencies, rose 4.03% over the past 24 hours to reach approximately $144.88.
