Fikra Ventures Partners with Hub71 to Build and Scale AI Companies from Abu Dhabi
Fikra Ventures has announced a strategic partnership with Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s global technology ecosystem, aimed at building and scaling artificial intelligence–driven companies from the UAE capital.
Under the agreement, Fikra Ventures joins the Hub71 ecosystem as a Venture Studio Partner, operating as a venture builder within Hub71’s Initiate program. The partnership will focus on creating AI startups within the Hub71 community, as well as forming joint ventures with selected global AI companies to target regional markets from Abu Dhabi.
The agreement was signed at Hub71’s headquarters by Wael Aburida, CEO and Managing Partner of Fikra Ventures, and Ahmad Ali Alwan, CEO of Hub71.
As global AI adoption accelerates, long-term success is increasingly shaped by factors beyond technical model performance. Market access, distribution channels, and speed to commercialization have become critical competitive advantages. This partnership combines Hub71’s founder-focused ecosystem with Fikra Ventures’ venture studio platform to support the creation and scaling of AI companies built for real-world markets, expanding globally from Abu Dhabi.

Commenting on the partnership, Wael Aburida said Abu Dhabi is poised to become not only a global capital hub, but also a leading AI capital, with Fikra Ventures contributing to this vision by helping global AI companies scale regionally and internationally from Abu Dhabi, supported by Hub71 within Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
