Cairo Hosts 4th Innovest Arab Forum to Boost Innovation and Investment Across the Arab World
Cairo, Egypt – January 19–20 – The fourth edition of the Innovest Arab Forum kicked off in Cairo, organized by Qaderoon Foundation, under the theme “Towards an Innovative Arab Ecosystem for Investment and Promising Opportunities.” The two-day forum aims to strengthen entrepreneurship as a key driver of Arab economic growth, with broad participation from ministers, investors, policymakers, and innovation experts.
The opening session features keynote addresses by Wael Mohamed El-Sherif, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Shabab Qaderoon Foundation and CEO of the forum, alongside representatives from the Ministries of Environment, Youth and Sports, Communications, Higher Education, and Investment. The League of Arab States also delivers a keynote highlighting the importance of Arab economic integration to support innovators and startups.
The second session showcases inspiring success stories from leading Arab entrepreneurs, while addressing current challenges and emerging opportunities in the startup ecosystem. Discussions also highlight the critical role of private sector institutions and banks in financing SMEs and ensuring long-term sustainability.
The forum continues with a third dialogue session focusing on innovation, startup investment, and the empowerment of youth and women, alongside discussions on smart applications, digital economy efficiency, and advanced industrial and agricultural projects.
An exhibition hosted by the League of Arab States at Hall (B&B) runs throughout the forum, featuring interactive meetings between entrepreneurs and investors and presenting scalable business models aimed at transforming research-driven innovations into viable investment projects.
On the second and final day, the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Forum addresses data governance and cybersecurity, digital transformation, and the future of the knowledge-based economy, emphasizing public-private partnerships to support sustainable economic growth.
