Following directives from Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, emphasizing the need for continuous monitoring of all vital projects, Engineer Marwa Hussein Amin, Head of the New Administrative Capital City Authority, and other officials conducted an inspection tour of the city's sewage and water pumping stations. These stations play a vital and essential role in supplying the capital with water and ensuring the proper functioning of sewage systems for all neighborhoods and service areas. The tour aimed to verify the readiness of these facilities to operate at peak efficiency, especially given the rapid urban expansion and increasing occupancy rates within the city.

During the tour, Engineer Marwa Hassan Amin and her team inspected the condition of the pumps, electromechanical equipment, control panels, operating systems, discharge lines, and ongoing operation and maintenance work. She ensured the smooth operation of these facilities and the absence of any obstacles that could affect service continuity or efficiency. She stressed the importance of adhering to periodic and preventative maintenance programs and taking all necessary measures to preserve assets and equipment.

The head of the agency emphasized the necessity of full compliance with approved technical specifications and occupational safety and health instructions, as well as enhancing the performance of station staff. She also stressed the importance of promptly addressing any issues or emergencies to ensure the provision of distinguished service befitting the status of the new capital.

At the conclusion of the visit, the head of the agency underscored the need for intensified field monitoring and continuous coordination between relevant departments and operation and maintenance companies. She further emphasized the importance of submitting regular reports on the condition of the stations and their performance levels to ensure the sustainability of water and sanitation facilities.
