The index of the banking sector in the stock exchange rises by 0.04% during the beginning of today”s trading
The index of the banking sector listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange began trading on Tuesday's session with an increase of 0.04% to reach 3615 points.
During the morning trading, the banking sector of the stock exchange witnessed trading amounting to 8.049 million pounds, to capture the sector 1.34% of the total trading values of the stock exchange.
This came after the sector witnessed the trading of about 217.87 thousand shares, capturing 0.08% of the total number of shares traded on the stock exchange.
The Egyptian Stock Exchange indices varied at the beginning of Tuesday's session, as the main index EGX30 fell by 0.2%, recording 41649 points.
The EGX70 SME index rose 0.34% to 13,205 points, and the EGX100 index rose 0.25% to 17,456 points.
