Appointment of Eng. Osama Yassin as Acting Managing Director of Digitize for Investment and Technology
Digitize Investment and Technology Company, listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, announced the appointment of Engineer Osama Yassin as an Executive Member of the Board of Directors and Acting Managing Director, provided that the decision will be presented to the nearest ordinary general assembly for approval, in a step aimed at enhancing executive efficiency and supporting the company's technological growth strategy.
For his part, Engineer Osama Yesin, Managing Director of Digitize Investment and Technology Company, said: “I am honored to join Digitiz at this important stage of its development, and I look forward to working alongside the Board of Directors, which includes high-level levels to achieve the company's ambitious goals.”
“Our strategy focuses on promoting technological innovation through the launch of advanced products and solutions in the field of Viber and other telecommunications projects to keep pace with the highest international standards and enhance the company's competitiveness in the local and regional markets,” he added.
He pointed out that the company also seeks to improve operational and financial performance through effective resource management, cost control and maximization of operational efficiency, stressing full commitment to the principles of good governance and transparency in all operations.

He stressed that "the next phase will witness a focus on continuous innovation, expanding the manufacture of advanced Viber products for the local market to be exported to neighboring markets and supporting the company's strategic expansion plans, which enhances Digitize's position in the market and achieves added value for all concerned parties."
Bus Career
Osama Yassin has more than four decades of experience in the fields of communications, technology and business administration, where he held several leadership positions, including:
CEO and Managing Director of Telecom Egypt from May 2015 to March 2016 and was a member of the Board of Directors of the company from October 2013 to March 2016
He also worked as a freelance telecommunications consultant between 2010 and 2013 in the UAE and Egypt, and as a general manager at Phonics Global Telecom from 2006 to 2010 in Dubai.
He also served as a project manager in major companies such as Investcom, MVN Syria, MTN Cyprus between 2004 and 2006, in addition to holding important positions at Orascom Telecom (Egypt, Algeria, Iraq) in the fields of information technology and technical support between 2000 and 2004.
Engineer Osama Yassin also worked in oil and energy companies such as ADCO and Qatar Petroleum, as a systems programmer at Al-Ahram newspaper, and at the University of Mansoura between 1977 and 1979.
Osama Yassin received a bachelor's degree in production engineering and industrial planning from Alexandria University in 1977, and has extensive experience in digital transformation, developing technical systems, and managing major telecommunications projects at the local and international levels.
