Black Hat Global Cybersecurity Event to Kick Off in Riyadh This December

The Saudi capital is gearing up to host the fourth edition of the global cybersecurity event Black Hat, taking place from 2 to 4 December at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham. The event is organized by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP) and Tahawul, one of the Federation’s companies, in partnership with global events leader Informa and the Events Investment Fund, under the theme «A Global Platform for Cybersecurity».

Black Hat is recognized as one of the world’s leading cybersecurity events, and this year’s edition is set for major expansion. The 2025 program places a special focus on business and enterprise sectors, positioning them as a core pillar for linking the cybersecurity ecosystem with economic and investment opportunities. The event will feature dedicated platforms designed to bring together technology leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors within a unified environment.

The event is expected to attract more than 45,000 attendees from 14 countries, in addition to 450 exhibitors representing top global and local companies. More than 300 speakers, including senior leaders and cybersecurity experts, will address audiences across over 500 hours of specialized content delivered through 12 stages. The agenda includes live ethical hacking demonstrations, interactive panel discussions, advanced technical workshops, 18 thematic dialogue sessions, and seven hands-on engagement programs.

Faisal Al-Khamisi, Chairman of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, emphasized that hosting the event for the fourth consecutive year reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to global leadership in cybersecurity and reinforces Riyadh’s rising status as a central hub for technology and digital security in the Middle East and beyond. He added that the 2025 edition aims to strengthen the integration between technology and enterprise sectors, enabling organizations to adopt cybersecurity solutions that drive economic growth while expanding collaboration opportunities between the public and private sectors.

This year’s Black Hat will also see strong participation from global and regional technology leaders through a partnership with Tuwaiq Academy. Participating brands include Google Cloud, Cisco, Haboob, SITE, and Infoblox, alongside experts from major international institutions such as Microsoft, INTERPOL, Mastercard, and Riot Games.

First launched in the United States in 1997, Black Hat has grown into one of the world’s most influential platforms for cybersecurity professionals, bringing together top experts, innovators, and decision-makers shaping the future of digital defense.
