The head of the post informed the Prime Minister of the efforts to develop the service system and launch the new digital financial services
Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, inspected the National Postal Authority's pavilion at the Cairo International Exhibition for Technology and Telecommunications “Cairo ICT 2025”, accompanied by Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, where they were received by Ms. Dalia Al-Baz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Postal Authority, who welcomed his sovereignty and provided a comprehensive presentation of the latest developments, achievements and new services launched by Egypt Post during the exhibition activities this year.
Ms. Dalia Al-Baz explained that the participation of the Egyptian Post in the “Cairo ICT 2025” exhibition comes within the framework of the Authority's keenness to support the country's trends towards digital transformation and financial inclusion, in addition to enhancing the role of the post in providing financial, postal, logistics and government services according to the latest international standards.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Post Authority confirmed that this year the post pavilion is witnessing the launch of a range of digital solutions and advanced services, including the relaunch of the “Easy Pay” application in cooperation with eFinance, which allows citizens to conduct various financial transactions easily, such as paying bills, charging phone balances, paying university expenses and receiving money transfers. The VISA Plus service was also launched to facilitate the receipt of money transfers from abroad, in addition to the customer loyalty program to support the use of electronic payment methods, as well as providing microfinance services in cooperation with specialized financial institutions to expand the financial inclusion base.
During the tour, Ms. Dalia Al-Baz reviewed before the Prime Minister the launch of the Egyptian Post of the delivery service through the “Post Collect” smart parcel stations for the first time in Egypt, which allows customers to receive their shipments 24 hours a day via a secret code used once to open the safe and receive the parcel, explaining that these stations will be distributed in vital locations in the governorates such as commercial centers and metro stations.
Ms. Dalia Al-Baz also announced the launch of the "Flosi" application as the first integrated digital platform in Egypt to invest in investment funds, through BFI Investment Services Company licensed by the Financial Supervisory Authority and wholly owned by Al-Mai Investment Company - the investment arm of the National Postal Authority.
The "Flosi" application is one of the largest digital investment platforms in the Middle East in terms of product diversity and multiplicity of partnerships. It also represents the first platform of its kind in the Egyptian market that allows individuals to invest directly in various investment fund documents via mobile phone. The application provides an integrated and easy-to-use digital investment experience, allowing investors to choose from more than 40 investment funds covering various categories of assets, including gold funds, fixed income, and stocks, in addition to Egyptian stock index funds and sector funds such as real estate, and technology.
Ms. Dalia Al-Baz concluded the tour by stressing that the Egyptian Post is pursuing an ambitious strategy aimed at enhancing its national role and providing advanced services that keep pace with the needs of citizens and support the country's efforts for digital transformation and financial inclusion.
