ITIDA Showcases 11 Egyptian Beta-Stage Startups at Web Summit 2025 in Lisbon

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), affiliated with Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, announced the participation of 11 Egyptian startups in the Beta Stage at Web Summit 2025, one of the world’s largest technology and innovation events, taking place in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 10 to 13.

ITIDA stated that Egypt’s participation comes as part of the government’s commitment to empowering Egyptian entrepreneurs and innovators, while promoting the country’s growing digital and investment landscape. The selected startups represent the next generation of Egypt’s innovation ecosystem, operating across diverse sectors including FinTech, EdTech, AgriTech, SaaS platforms, digital services, and circular economy solutions.

The participating startups in the Beta Stage are:
Sportyano, Growthlabs, Bekya Pay, Bekia Inc, Skoolix, Jadeed, AgriCash, SABIKA, Freelance Yard, Super Be, and Furniture Hub.

According to ITIDA, these companies have reached advanced technical maturity and commercial scalability, and will present their innovative solutions to global investors, accelerators, and potential partners during the summit. The agency highlighted that Web Summit 2025 serves as a pivotal platform for showcasing Egyptian innovation on the global stage, fostering opportunities for collaboration, funding, and market expansion.

The initiative is organized in collaboration with the Digital Economy and Technology General Division (DETGD) of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, as part of ITIDA’s ongoing efforts to empower Egyptian startups to access international markets and enhance Egypt’s visibility within the global entrepreneurship and technology ecosystem.

The Egyptian delegation is located at Hall 4, Booth E474, where participating startups will showcase innovative business models that combine technological efficiency with regional scalability—underscoring the vibrancy and growing competitiveness of Egypt’s digital economy.
