NTI-ITIDA 2025 Student Summer Training Concludes, Graduates Honored

The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) and the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) have concluded the 2025 Student Summer Training program.

During the closing ceremony, 142 trainees were honored, earning international certificates and digital badges from leading global technology companies. The event was held at NTI’s headquarters in Smart Village, attended by officials from both institutions and a number of ICT sector leaders.

The ceremony celebrated the success of the program, which has trained and graduated 10,299 students from various universities and disciplines. The initiative is part of NTI and ITIDA’s ongoing efforts to build young people’s digital capabilities and equip them with the skills required for local and global job markets.

The 2025 edition has seen remarkable growth in both the number and diversity of participants, along with strengthened international partnerships with top global technology companies that awarded top-performing students internationally-recognized certifications.

The program offered a range of training tracks, including AI, cybersecurity, deep learning, software development, data science, cloud computing, systems administration, electronics, and digital arts.

About 70% of participants received training in freelancing tracks, while 30% focused on developing soft skills, enhancing their readiness for today’s competitive job market in Egypt and abroad. A number of trainees also earned international certificates and digital badges from major global tech firms such as Huawei, NVIDIA, Fortinet, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), underscoring the training’s high quality and the strength of international collaborations.

The program reflects national efforts to invest in youth and prepare them to compete regionally and globally. It also aligns with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s strategy to develop a generation of specialists in advanced technologies and broaden the country’s digital talent base, reinforcing Egypt’s position as a regional hub for ICT, innovation, and offshoring.

NTI continues to enhance its training framework to keep pace with rapid technological advancements. The institute also integrates technical training with freelancing and soft skills development to prepare skilled professionals capable of competing successfully in both local and global markets.
