ICT Misr Launches “Finovate” at Cairo ICT 2025 to Drive AI-Powered Digital Transformation in the Banking and Financial Sector
In a strategic move to accelerate innovation and deepen specialization in the financial sector, ICT Misr, a leading provider of integrated digital infrastructure solutions, has announced the launch of its new subsidiary Finovate during Cairo ICT 2025, the Middle East and Africa’s premier technology exhibition and conference. The event, held under the auspices of Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), takes place under the theme “AI Everywhere.”
Finovate aims to revolutionize the banking and financial ecosystem through advanced technological solutions that support Egypt’s digital transformation agenda and align with the Central Bank of Egypt’s regulatory framework. The company showcases its innovations at ICT Misr’s booth in Hall 2, in collaboration with global open-source database leader EDB, provider of PostgreSQL enterprise-grade database solutions. Through this partnership, Finovate enables banks, financial institutions, and government entities to achieve high-performance and reliable data management capabilities.
The company’s strategy is built around three core pillars:
1. Leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enable data-driven, intelligent decision-making.
2. Delivering next-generation core banking systems tailored for agility, scalability, and innovation.
3. Achieving operational excellence through intelligent process automation and optimization.
This launch marks the culmination of ICT Misr’s significant success in the financial technology domain. With the company’s growing portfolio of digital financial services, establishing Finovate represents a strategic step toward creating a dedicated entity capable of developing advanced banking and fintech solutions that go beyond conventional models—offering future-ready, regulation-compliant technologies for the modern financial landscape.
Finovate’s mission is to broaden AI adoption across the financial industry, from enhancing financial inclusion and extending services to unbanked populations, to delivering personalized and real-time banking experiences through behavioral analytics and predictive modeling. The company also provides regulatory and governance tools, bolstering compliance and security through machine learning models that detect and prevent fraud in real time. Additionally, Finovate supports algorithmic trading, investment management, and customer insights powered by advanced data analysis.
Eng. Khaled Hamada, CEO of Finovate, emphasized that the company’s establishment represents “a calculated and transformative step that reflects our commitment to redefining the future of the financial sector through intelligent, adaptive, and forward-looking solutions.” He added that Finovate’s team combines deep technical expertise with extensive financial insight, enabling it to develop unconventional solutions that meet the demands of an evolving global market.
“The global financial industry is undergoing rapid change—technology is advancing, customer expectations are shifting, and regulatory pressures are mounting,” Hamada noted. “In this dynamic environment, we saw the need for solutions that transcend traditional models and anticipate what’s next.”
Eng. Mohamed El Mofty, Chairman of ICT Misr, stated that Finovate is “not merely an expansion but a tangible expression of ICT Misr’s belief that true digital transformation in the financial sector must be founded on innovation, agility, and a deep understanding of both technological and regulatory challenges.”
He further highlighted that customer experience has become the cornerstone of the financial industry, adding: “Technology is no longer an option—it’s a strategic necessity. Today’s customers seek a seamless and intelligent service experience, and that can only be achieved through an adaptive and scalable digital infrastructure.”
The Cairo ICT 2025 exhibition and conference takes place from November 16–19, 2025, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo, under the patronage of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. This year’s edition, themed “Infinite Possibilities: Rewriting Tomorrow’s Story,” is set to be the largest in the event’s history, featuring more than 500 exhibitors and hosting six concurrent specialized events under one platform, gathering government leaders, industry pioneers, and global technology innovators.
