ABK-Egypt Lights Its Headquarters in Pink and Organizes a Health Awareness Seminar for Female Employees
In line with its strong belief in the importance of corporate social responsibility and its pivotal role in community development, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK-Egypt) illuminated its headquarters in Smart Village in pink for the second consecutive year. This initiative comes as part of the bank’s continuous collaboration with the Baheya Foundation to support breast cancer patients and to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote health awareness among its employees, ABK-Egypt also organized a medical awareness seminar for female staff during October, in cooperation with representatives from Dar Al Fouad Hospital. The session, held at the bank’s headquarters, aimed to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer, while reinforcing the bank’s commitment to fostering a culture of social responsibility within its workplace.
Promoting Women’s Health
Further underscoring its dedication to women’s health, the bank partnered with MetLife Life Insurance to offer free mammogram screenings to all female employees, ensuring their access to preventive healthcare services.
Continued Partnership with Baheya
As part of its long-standing partnership with the Baheya Foundation to support women’s health in the fight against breast cancer, ABK-Egypt also donated funds to establish a Hematology Laboratory for Blood Diseases, including the purchase of advanced medical equipment. The new lab will serve 85% of Baheya’s total cases—approximately 400,000 patients annually—reinforcing ABK-Egypt’s continued support for women’s health and its deep-rooted commitment to social responsibility initiatives across Egypt.
