Egypt Post and Citi Bank Sign Partnership Agreement to Boost Financial Inclusion and Expand Payment Services Reach
Egypt Post and Citi Bank N.A. Egypt have signed a cooperation protocol aimed at enhancing financial inclusion and expanding access to payment collection services across the country. The agreement aligns with Egypt’s national strategy to strengthen economic growth through greater integration between financial and banking institutions.
The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Dalia El Baz, Chairperson of Egypt Post, and Mr. Mohamed Abdelkader, Chief Executive Officer of Citi Bank N.A. Egypt. The protocol was officially signed by Mr. Islam Abdelghany, Assistant Chairperson of Egypt Post, and Mr. Fadi Aziz, Head of Payments for Citi Bank in Egypt, North Africa, Jordan, and Lebanon.

This integration will streamline the collection process, expand corporate reach within the Egyptian market, and boost daily commercial transactions, ultimately supporting economic growth and enhancing service accessibility for citizens.”
Mr. Mohamed Abdelkader, CEO of Citi Bank N.A. Egypt, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, noting:
