At GITEX Global 2025, F5, a global leader in application and API security, is showcasing its most advanced platform yet, designed to unify application delivery with cutting-edge security for applications, APIs, and AI workloads.

The company is emphasizing its ability to integrate end-to-end security across applications and APIs while maintaining performance and optimizing data traffic management in increasingly complex IT environments.

According to the newly released F5 State of AI Application Strategy 2025 report, only 2% of organizations are fully prepared to scale AI adoption securely, highlighting the urgent need for a holistic security approach.

At the center of this effort is the F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform, launched earlier this year as the most advanced solution in the market for securing, deploying, and scaling applications—including AI-driven workloads. The platform addresses challenges around multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructures, evolving cyber threats, and performance demands.

Last month, F5 enhanced its platform by completing the acquisition of CalypsoAI, a pioneer in AI security. The integration of CalypsoAI’s capabilities—including real-time AI threat defense, red teaming simulations, and enterprise data protection powered by generative and proxy AI—will strengthen F5’s ability to secure AI inference and expand the platform’s scope as the most comprehensive security solution in the sector.

Abu Khater added:
"As organizations rapidly integrate AI into products and operations, a new AI layer—spanning applications, agents, APIs, models, and data repositories—is creating highly dynamic attack surfaces. Traditional controls are no longer sufficient. Security teams now need a model-agnostic approach to govern how AI interacts with data, users, and threats, backed by centralized visibility across infrastructure."

Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Readiness

F5 will also spotlight its readiness for post-quantum cryptography (PQC) at GITEX. As a leader in application delivery and security, the company is streamlining the transition to quantum-resistant protection. Its platform-based approach safeguards applications, APIs, and data with full PQC support for both server- and client-side encryption, simplifying integration across hybrid, multi-cloud, and legacy environments.

"Customers can seamlessly combine traditional and post-quantum cryptography without business disruption," Abu Khater explained. "F5’s solutions also provide deep insights into encrypted traffic flows, strengthening threat detection during the PQC transition."
