B.TECH Celebrates Graduation of Third Cohort from B.TECH School of Applied Technology 2025

B.TECH, Egypt’s leading retailer of electronics and home appliances and a pioneer in consumer finance services, celebrated the graduation of the third cohort of students from the B.TECH School of Applied Technology – the first school of its kind in Egypt specialized in retail education across sales, marketing, and logistics. The initiative is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education and the Skills Development Bank.

The B.TECH School represents a distinguished model for preparing and qualifying young people for the labor market. Its programs, accredited internationally through the Skills Development Bank, combine academic learning with practical training in fields such as sales, customer service, and technology. The school provides a comprehensive educational environment that equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s evolving job market.

Dr. Mahmoud Khattab, Chairman and Managing Director of B.TECH, said:
“Every new graduating class reaffirms our belief that real investment lies in empowering youth. The graduation of the third cohort in 2025 is not just a milestone for the school, but proof of our ability to produce a new generation that blends academic knowledge with hands-on expertise and is capable of creating meaningful impact in the workforce. What started six years ago as a dream to directly connect education with the labor market has today become a living reality, reflected in the outstanding performance of our graduates.”

Khattab emphasized that B.TECH continues to support students by covering all tuition and training costs, granting full scholarships to the top ten graduates to pursue higher education, and providing direct employment opportunities either within B.TECH or the wider market for those eager to start their careers immediately.

Dr. Amr Basila, Head of the Central Administration for Technical Education Development, added:
“Today we celebrate not just the graduation of a new class, but 47 inspiring journeys that began three years ago within this school. The B.TECH School has been more than an institution of learning – it has been a factory of hope, a place of self-discovery, and a launchpad for brighter futures. The certificates these graduates hold are not mere documents; they represent resilience, determination, and the ability to turn challenges into real opportunities. They are equipped not only to enter the job market, but also to lead it.”

He continued: “This is more than a graduation ceremony – it is a powerful message that applied technology education is the beating heart of Egypt’s future. When given genuine opportunities, our youth excel, and these graduates stand as ambassadors of this successful educational model.”

Rania El-Ghoneimy, CEO of the Skills Development Bank, stated:
“Today’s celebration reflects the outcome of over five years of fruitful cooperation between B.TECH and the Skills Development Bank to build an integrated educational ecosystem. Our goal has been to bridge the gap between local labor market needs and international standards, delivering modern education with globally recognized certifications. The graduates we honor today are real success stories, proving that investing in education and skills development is the surest way to building a stronger future for Egypt.”

The ceremony concluded with thanks to all partners who made this achievement possible, led by the Qualifications Development Bank, the international body responsible for accrediting curricula and ensuring alignment with the latest global standards.
