A Holistic Approach to Urban Growth
Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Eng. Randa Al-Minshawi, conducted a site visit to the presidential initiative "Housing for All Egyptians" in East Port Said’s Salam City. She emphasized that the ministry's policy extends past simply erecting housing, focusing instead on creating cohesive, sustainable neighborhoods that improve everyday living standards for Egyptian families.
Key Highlights of the Salam City Project
Joined by executive leaders from the New Urban Communities Authority and lawmakers representing North Sinai, the Minister inspected the development. The project encompasses 217 residential blocks featuring 4,340 fully finished apartments, built to contemporary architectural standards and rigorous quality metrics.
Essential Amenities for Vibrant Communities
Highlighting the project's role in advancing social justice, Eng. Al-Minshawi underlined the importance of synchronizing residential delivery with operational infrastructure. Her inspection covered local public services, including a shopping center, childcare center, healthcare facility, and a primary school tailored for nearby residents.
