Madbouly Witnesses Soft Launch of 24/7 ”Self-Service” Kiosks for Corporate Documents
Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly witnessed the soft launch of the "Self-Service" kiosks for investor services introduced by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade. The event took place in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, on the sidelines of the Cairo International Technology Exhibition and Conference (Cairo ICT 2026).
This step aligns with an integrated plan to expand the digitization of investment services. The new kiosks allow corporate official documents to be issued and printed around the clock, bypassing standard working hours and eliminating the need for face-to-face employee interaction.
24/7 Digital Services and Advanced Identity Verification Techniques
The smart kiosks enable investors to issue and print true copies of essential documents—such as articles of incorporation, incorporation certificates, and sole proprietorship registration letters—via direct digital steps.
To guarantee high security standards, the units employ precise electronic verification mechanisms. These read national ID cards for Egyptian citizens and passports for foreign investors, utilizing biometric technology and facial recognition in coordination with relevant authorities.
A Comprehensive Digital Ecosystem to Streamline Investor Journeys
Dr. Mohamed Farid emphasized that launching these units reflects the Ministry's commitment to simplifying procedures and improving inter-government connectivity. He noted parallel progress on digital projects, including the "Capital Increase Procedures Platform" and the "Economic Entities Platform."
He also revealed upcoming amendments to the Executive Regulations of the Companies Law to eliminate redundant paperwork and administrative routine, delivering a faster, more efficient business environment for both investors and citizens.
Rollout Across 15 Centers and Partnership with Egypt Post for Express Delivery
Dr. Mohamed Awad, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), announced a phased plan to deploy self-service kiosks across all 15 investor service centers nationwide.
He added that GAFI is preparing to activate a cooperation protocol with "Egypt Post" to offer a delivery service for official documents to investors' registered addresses or company headquarters within the same business day.
