GTS Reports 30% Business Growth, Eyes New Gulf and African Markets in 2027
GTS, an Egyptian provider of digital transformation, technology infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions, is participating in the 30th edition of Cairo ICT 2026, taking place from November 7 to 10 under the theme "AI in Action: Turning Intelligence into Impact."
The company is adopting an expanded participation strategy this year, working alongside a larger number of international technology partners to showcase its growing range of services and solutions.
Its showcase will focus on AI-enabled data center infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and advanced technology solutions designed to support organizations navigating the growing adoption of artificial intelligence.
AI Creates New Opportunities for Technology Providers
Eng. Ayman El-Sayed, CEO of GTS, described Cairo ICT as a major regional platform for connecting with customers and technology partners and exploring the latest developments across the IT industry.
He explained that the increasing adoption of AI across Egyptian organizations is creating new requirements for computing power, storage, networking, and data protection.
As more institutions consider deploying AI applications within their own data centers, demand is also growing for specialized cybersecurity solutions capable of protecting AI environments, in addition to conventional networks and information systems.
Banking Sector Leads GTS's Target Markets
El-Sayed identified banking as a key business segment for GTS, particularly as financial institutions increase their investments in AI, digital transformation, data centers, and cybersecurity.
The company is also expanding its activities in the commercial and oil and gas sectors, which are witnessing growing demand for modern technology infrastructure.
30% Growth Supports Expansion Strategy
GTS has recorded business growth of approximately 30%, according to its CEO, who confirmed that the company is continuing to deliver new projects across its main target sectors.
He noted that the company's expansion is supported by rising investment in artificial intelligence, data center modernization, and cybersecurity, alongside traditional IT expenditure.
Gulf and Africa Expansion Under Consideration
GTS currently maintains a direct presence in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE through local offices and teams. Egypt remains its largest market in terms of business volume and revenue.
The company is now exploring opportunities to enter additional Gulf and African markets during 2027, seeking to build on its Egyptian market experience and capitalize on growing regional demand for digital transformation and advanced technology solutions.
Strengthening Global Technology Partnerships
El-Sayed stressed that the company's participation in Cairo ICT reflects its commitment to delivering solutions that meet customer expectations through close cooperation with international technology partners.
He added that the exhibition provides an opportunity to exchange expertise, strengthen industry relationships, and identify emerging investment opportunities across the IT sector.
GTS intends to continue developing its expertise in AI, cybersecurity, data centers, and infrastructure while pursuing its regional growth ambitions across the Gulf and Africa.
