Ministry of Communications and NTA Conclude 3rd Cohort of National AI Initiative for Government Leaders

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in partnership with the National Training Academy (NTA), concluded the training activities for the 3rd cohort of the "National AI Initiative for Government Leaders." The closing event witnessed wide participation from executive leaders across the state administration, official ministerial spokespersons, and digital media officials.

Training 500 Government Leaders to Enhance Organizational Performance

Across its various phases, the initiative aims to build and enhance the capabilities of 500 leaders from various ministries, governorates, and public entities. It equips them with the necessary digital skills to leverage artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to address challenges and modernize leadership operations.

Promoting Digital Culture & Data-Driven Decision Making

The core objective of the initiative focuses on raising awareness among government staff regarding AI's potential to boost operational efficiency and improve public services. It also aims to establish data-driven decision-making processes while promoting the safe and responsible use of these technologies.

Intensive Training Program & Specialized Track Modules

Launched last June, the 10-day intensive program comprised 60 training hours featuring specialized lectures, workshops, and practical case studies on global AI trends. Key training modules covered:

Strategy and leadership in the AI era.

Technology applications in government services and smart governance.

Cybersecurity and digital marketing for government initiatives.

Innovation, emerging technologies, future foresight, and sustainability.

A Strategic Step Towards "Digital Egypt"

This initiative aligns with the targets of the National AI Strategy (2025–2030) and builds upon the ongoing collaboration between MCIT and the NTA—such as the "Digital Egypt Leaders" initiative. It forms a key part of the digital capacity-building programs continuously implemented for the state’s administrative apparatus under the "Digital Egypt" strategy.
