ICT Misr Puts AI and Post-Quantum Security in Focus at Cairo ICT 2026

ICT Misr is set to use Cairo ICT 2026 to highlight how artificial intelligence is being applied across critical industries, with new projects targeting healthcare and financial services alongside discussions on cybersecurity and the future of data protection.

The Egyptian integrated technology and digital infrastructure company is returning to the exhibition as Infrastructure Sponsor for the fourth consecutive year, as Cairo ICT marks its 30th edition from November 7 to 10 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo.

The company's participation will be organised around the exhibition's “AI in Action” theme, with its latest projects and solutions presented at its booth in Hall 3.

Healthcare and Digital Lending Take Centre Stage

One of the key announcements expected from ICT Misr is the signing of a new artificial intelligence project in healthcare. The company said the initiative is significant because of its potential direct impact on stakeholders throughout the healthcare system and on citizens.

ICT Misr will also introduce FINOVA – Digital Lending Platform, an integrated AI-enabled digital platform designed to automate and manage the full business cycle of lending and financial services.

The two initiatives highlight the company's focus on bringing AI into practical service delivery and business operations across sectors with broad economic and social importance.

Preparing for Cybersecurity Challenges Beyond Today

Alongside its healthcare and financial technology projects, ICT Misr will address the growing importance of AI in cybersecurity, particularly for government organisations and critical industries.

A central topic will be the implications of quantum computing for data security. The company plans to focus on Post-Quantum Cryptography and the preparations institutions may need to protect information as computing capabilities evolve.

ICT Misr considers the readiness of government entities and vital sectors for these developments a priority, placing future data protection requirements within the wider discussion of digital transformation.

Chairman Highlights Shift from AI Potential to Practical Deployment

Eng. Mohamed El-Mofty, Chairman of ICT Misr, said the company's participation in this year's exhibition reflects the growing role of AI in its current business.

He noted that “AI in Action” represents the company's move towards practical AI deployment across the solutions and services it provides, supported by cooperation with major international technology organisations.

El-Mofty said the company's exhibition presence will feature a diverse portfolio of projects with implications for citizens and important sectors of the Egyptian economy.

He added that many of these initiatives are being developed with public- and private-sector partners, helping organisations respond to current AI requirements while examining how to prepare for the next wave of technological change, including quantum computing.
