Emirates NBD Announces Participation as Premier Banking Partner at Dubai Fintech Summit 2026

Emirates NBD, a leading banking group in the MENAT (Middle East, North Africa, Türkiye) and South Asia region, has announced its participation as the Premier Banking Partner and Ecosystem Partner for the "Future Sustainability Forum." The forum will take place as part of the "Dubai Future of Finance Week" from November 2 to 6, 2026, under the guidance and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Pioneering AI and Global Presence

The Dubai Fintech Summit 2026 will be held on November 2 and 3 at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, where the bank will showcase its ambition to lead the region in adopting artificial intelligence and its practical applications in the banking sector. This direction is further reinforced by the bank’s inclusion in the global Evident AI Index, reflecting the maturity of its digital capabilities and strategic partnerships.

Pavilion Activities and Specialized Panel Sessions

Emirates NBD will host an expansive pavilion featuring live podcast recordings and panel sessions with key bank executives and industry leaders:

Future of Retail & Growth: Neeraj Makin, Group Head of Strategy, Analytics, and Venture Capital, will join a panel discussing market fragmentation, emerging technologies, and expanding investment partnerships.

Emerging Technologies: Senior executives will explore software engineering, AI integration, and the transformative role of AI in retail banking.

Strategic Partnerships: The program includes signing MoUs with leading fintech companies to foster digital collaboration and innovation.

Connecting Regional and International Markets

Leveraging its strong international presence—particularly following its recent strategic acquisition of a majority stake in RBL Bank in India—Emirates NBD is uniquely positioned to bridge fintech innovation across India, the UAE, and the wider region, facilitating trade corridors and technology transfer.

Miguel Rio Tinto, Group Chief Digital and Information Officer at Emirates NBD, emphasized that the bank focuses on translating AI capabilities into tangible customer value and measurable business outcomes, highlighting the summit as a vital platform for responsible innovation.

Supporting Sustainable Finance and Climate Action

As an Ecosystem Partner, the bank will also support the Future Sustainability Forum, a dedicated platform within the week focusing on the intersection of finance, sustainability, and climate-aligned capital allocation to accelerate the transition toward resilient, sustainable economies.
