Representatives from National Councils—including the National Council for Women, the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, and the National Council for Population—alongside a group of experts and specialists also participated.
Key Focus Areas: Women’s Empowerment and Protection
The initiative’s participation highlighted vital topics, including women's digital empowerment, consolidating digital citizenship, supporting gender equality, and mechanisms to address cyber threats, aiming to create a safer and more inclusive digital environment tailored to the needs of women and girls.
About the Digital Citizenship Initiative
This participation comes as part of the initiative's efforts—launched by the Ministry of Communications—to spread digital awareness and equip various segments of society, particularly children, youth, and women, with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the digital world safely and benefit effectively from digital transformation services.
A Safe Digital Environment Building Confidence
The initiative focuses on empowering women to navigate digital space with confidence and safety, protecting their privacy and personal data while combating all forms of online violence and abuse. This ensures their active participation in the digital community and enables them to leverage digital transformation opportunities.
