Amanleek and ZenHR Launch Egypt’s First Integration Linking Health Insurance to Employee Lifecycle
Amanleek, a digital insurance brokerage platform, has announced a strategic partnership with ZenHR, an AI-powered HR and payroll management platform. This milestone initiative aims to develop integrated digital solutions for managing employee health insurance, aligning with Amanleek’s strategy to digitize the insurance sector and streamline its operations across the Egyptian market.
This partnership addresses one of the most critical operational challenges consuming the time and effort of HR departments: the repetitive manual processes involved in adding new hires to insurance coverage or removing departing staff, along with the constant data updates and tedious coordination required with insurance providers.
Full Automation of Health Insurance Management and Elimination of Manual Tasks
Under the upcoming collaboration, a direct technical integration will be established between both platforms, making employee data registered on ZenHR the single source of truth for updating their insurance status instantaneously. Consequently, medical insurance coverage will be automatically activated for new hires from day one and seamlessly terminated upon end of service, without the need for manual data re-entry.
Mohab Abou Eita, CEO and Founder of Amanleek, stated that this partnership embodies the company's vision to automate Egypt's insurance ecosystem. He highlighted that linking the employee lifecycle directly to insurance coverage sets a new benchmark for institutional medical insurance efficiency.
Ehab El Sakka, Co-Founder of Amanleek, noted that this technological integration is the first of its kind in Egypt, supporting the "Embedded Insurance" model that seamlessly integrates insurance services directly into the daily software systems companies already use.
Yousef Shamoun, CEO of ZenHR, pointed out that medical insurance is among the most time-consuming areas for HR teams in Egypt. He emphasized that this integration saves time, reduces errors, and provides employees with protection starting from their very first day.
Amanleek’s Growing Reach and Major Investments by ZenHR
This milestone builds upon Amanleek's solid track record, currently serving over 500 companies and collaborating with 18 insurance providers across 20 Egyptian governorates since its founding in 2019. In preparation for the official rollout, both platforms have opened a waitlist for joint clients wishing to leverage the service as soon as it goes live.
In a related context, the partnership coincides with ZenHR opening its sixth regional office in Cairo and committing over EGP 150 million in targeted investments over the next two years to bolster its presence in the Egyptian market. This expands its regional footprint, which already serves more than 2,500 active companies across 11 countries in the MENA region.
Remarkable Growth in Egypt’s Insurance Sector Indicators
This digital shift comes amidst steady expansion within Egypt's insurance sector. According to data from the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), total premiums collected in the Egyptian market rose to EGP 65.7 billion in the first half of 2026, marking a 15.7% growth compared to EGP 56.8 billion during the same period in 2025.
Additionally, paid claims reached EGP 28.4 billion during the first six months of 2026, highlighting the growing significance of InsurTech firms in delivering innovative solutions that boost the efficiency of policy management and claims tracking across the market.
