Trend AI Enhances Vision One Platform to Detect Security Vulnerabilities and Monitor AI Agents in the UAE
Trend AI, the enterprise security solutions arm of Trend Micro, has introduced new capabilities to its Vision One cybersecurity platform to help organizations in the UAE identify security vulnerabilities before they are exploited and monitor AI agents that can access business systems and perform tasks on behalf of users.
The new capabilities are designed to strengthen enterprise cybersecurity by using artificial intelligence to discover and validate software vulnerabilities while providing tools to monitor activities performed by AI applications across workplace environments.
AI-Powered Security Vulnerability Discovery
The updates include the Autonomous Vulnerability Discovery service, which uses the AESIR agentic AI engine to identify vulnerabilities in source code, including zero-day vulnerabilities, verify their exploitability, and assess security fixes implemented by organizations.
AESIR uses multiple AI models, most of which are developed by Anthropic. According to Trend AI, the engine has achieved stronger results than individual models and other AI agent systems in the CyberGym benchmark.
To validate discovered vulnerabilities, security experts from Trend AI’s Zero Day Initiative review all findings. The company describes the initiative as the world’s largest bug bounty program.
The Autonomous Vulnerability Discovery service operates through Amazon Bedrock, enabling vulnerability discovery, validation, and remediation testing to be carried out within the cloud environment of Amazon Web Services customers.
Monitoring AI Agent Activities
Trend AI has also expanded the integration between Vision One and the Claude Compliance API to include logs from Claude Code and Cowork.
The platform receives records from these tools through Claude Enterprise, including instructions provided to each tool, its responses, other tools used while performing tasks, and the verified identity of the user associated with each activity.
This capability allows cybersecurity teams to track the actions performed by AI agents and connect their activities with events across corporate devices, networks, and cloud systems to identify potentially risky behavior.
Security teams can also define behaviors that could pose threats to their organizations and configure Vision One to detect such activities when they are generated by AI agents.
62% of UAE Organizations Use More Than 50 AI Agents
The new capabilities come as organizations in the UAE increasingly deploy AI agents capable of performing tasks autonomously.
According to a study conducted by Harris Poll, 62% of chief information officers in the UAE said their organizations use more than 50 AI agents in live operations.
However, only 18% of respondents said they can comprehensively and centrally monitor the activities of these agents across their enterprise systems, highlighting the growing challenges associated with managing AI use in the workplace.
Trend AI Highlights the Need for Early Vulnerability Detection
Salah Suleiman, Managing Director of Trend AI for the Southern Gulf region, said AI has accelerated software development and business operations, with some AI tools now capable of accessing systems and performing tasks on behalf of employees.
He explained that the growing adoption of agentic AI in the UAE requires security teams to identify vulnerabilities early, monitor tasks performed by these tools, and ensure that their activities comply with corporate security policies.
Suleiman added that the new Vision One capabilities allow organizations to benefit from AI while enabling security teams to monitor its activities and reduce potential cybersecurity risks.
New Capabilities Available to Organizations
Trend AI said the Autonomous Vulnerability Discovery service is currently available on a trial basis to a select group of organizations using Amazon Web Services.
The monitoring feature for Claude Code and Cowork activities is also available to Vision One customers using Claude Enterprise.
The updates are part of Trend AI’s efforts to strengthen cybersecurity capabilities and help organizations protect their systems and data as the use of AI applications continues to expand.
