BYD’s Yangwang U9 Supercar Arrives in Egypt as the First in the Middle East
A Milestone for the Egyptian Automotive Market
QN Automotive has announced the official debut of the Yangwang U9 electric supercar in the Egyptian market. According to the company, Egypt is the first country in the Middle East to receive this high-performance model from the luxury brand "Yangwang," owned by China’s BYD Group. The unit brought to Egypt carries global chassis number 12.
This introduction represents a significant shift in the local automotive landscape, expanding beyond daily commuters into high-performance electric vehicles backed by cutting-edge engineering and driving technology.
Investment Climate and Stability Drive Expansion
Dr. Islam Nasrallah, Chairman of QN Automotive, stated that selecting Egypt as the first regional market for this electric supercar stems from the attractive investment environment, stability, and security under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He added that government incentives introduced in recent years to support electric mobility are bearing fruit, encouraging global firms to introduce their latest innovations in Egypt.
