Narrative Summit Signs MoUs with TikTok LIVE and Egypt Oil & Gas
The 10th edition of the Narrative Summit, held under the theme “Beyond Reset,” witnessed the signing of two memoranda of understanding with TikTok LIVE and Egypt Oil & Gas Group, expanding the summit’s partnerships and turning discussions held during the event into broader areas of cooperation.
TikTok LIVE Partnership to Promote Egyptian Stories
The first MoU was signed by Lamia Kamel, founder of the Narrative Summit and CEO of CC Plus and co-founder of The Global Narrative; Wael Ezzat, Head of Public Policy for North Africa at TikTok; and Melissa Salles, Head of Partnerships at TikTok LIVE for the Middle East and Africa.
The partnership aims to explore new ways of presenting Egyptian stories and experiences to a wider audience while using digital platforms to highlight different aspects of Egypt and introduce them to international audiences.
Under the agreement, key summit sessions and moments will also be made available through TikTok LIVE, while the summit’s content will receive greater exposure across the platform, allowing audiences across the Middle East and North Africa to follow and engage with the discussions.
The summit recorded more than 200,000 views during the first hours of its live broadcast on TikTok LIVE, highlighting the level of audience engagement with discussions surrounding Egypt’s image and international presence.
The agreement also reflects the summit’s focus on the growing role of digital platforms in shaping public discussions and connecting audiences with diverse perspectives and experiences.
Egypt Oil & Gas Partnership Focuses on Energy Efficiency
The second MoU was signed by Lamia Kamel and Hania Moussa, co-founder and managing partner of The Global Narrative and board member of the Narrative Summit, alongside Mohamed Fouad, CEO of Egypt Oil & Gas Group, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Gas Association and Director of the Egyptian Presidency at the International Gas Union, with the participation of Tawfik Diab, Vice President of the Egyptian Gas Association.
The agreement aims to expand cooperation in the energy sector and connect specialized industry expertise with broader discussions surrounding Egypt’s economic priorities and its regional and international position.
The partnership also seeks to promote energy efficiency by encouraging institutions and economic sectors to treat energy conservation as a shared responsibility rather than an individual practice.
Greater energy efficiency could help reduce waste and operating costs while easing pressure on foreign currency requirements associated with energy imports.
Narrative Summit Expands Its Economic Partnerships
The partnership with Egypt Oil & Gas will use the Narrative Summit as a platform bringing together representatives from various economic and investment sectors to encourage broader discussions about energy efficiency and promote more efficient consumption practices among companies.
The 10th edition of the Narrative Summit was held in Soma Bay from October 13 to 15, 2026, bringing together business, government, investment and media leaders to discuss opportunities and trends shaping Egypt’s future.
The summit was organized by CC Plus under the theme “Beyond Reset” and was held under the sponsorship of the Ministries of Industry, Tourism and Antiquities, Investment and Foreign Trade, and Finance, as well as Experience Egypt and the State Information Service.
