Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Launches Smart Branch in Al Ain under Vision 2035 Strategy

Developing Branch Network and Digital Services

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has inaugurated its new smart branch in the Al Mutaredh area of Al Ain, introducing an innovative banking model that combines digital self-service solutions, smart tellers, and direct support from branch staff. This step aligns with the bank’s strategy to expand digitally and achieve its "Vision 2035 targets" by offering customers broader, more flexible banking options.

Integrating Advanced Technology with Human Expertise

The new branch model enables customers to complete their daily transactions independently with speed and ease, while offering direct access to bank advisors for guidance on more complex financial needs. This integration elevates the role of physical branches into specialized centers focused on advisory services, strengthening customer relationships, and providing financial solutions that offer greater control and flexibility.

Strengthening Local Presence in the UAE

With the addition of the Al Mutaredh branch, ADIB’s presence in Al Ain expands to 9 branches, bringing its total network across the United Arab Emirates to 64 branches. Bank executives emphasized that this investment reflects their commitment to meeting customer expectations through fast, reliable services, while reinforcing Al Ain as a key growth market for the bank.

Financial Indicators and Strong Regional Presence

Established in 1997 and listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), ADIB reported total assets of AED 304 billion as of June 30, 2026. The bank offers a comprehensive suite of Islamic banking solutions for retail, corporate, and wealth management clients, with international operations extending across key markets including Egypt, Iraq, Qatar, and the United Kingdom.
