Financial Regulatory Authority Obligates Non-Banking Financing Companies to Submit Monthly Data and Exceptionally Reopens Platform Until October 29
The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), chaired by Dr. Islam Azzam, issued Circular No. 7 of 2026, requiring all non-banking financing companies and entities to submit their monthly activity data via the dedicated electronic platform within the first 15 days of each following month.
This step aligns with the Authority's continuous efforts to modernize its information infrastructure, enhance regulation and supervision over non-banking financial markets, and boost the efficiency of performance indicator analysis and early risk detection.
Exceptional Deadline to Update and Audit Previous Data
The Authority announced the exceptional reopening of the digital platform starting today, Monday, October 12, through Thursday, October 29, 2026. This grace period aims to provide all financing entities the opportunity to complete any remaining required data, as well as review and audit data registered since the beginning of this year (January 1, 2026), making necessary corrections to ensure accuracy and completeness.
It was also emphasized that concerned entities must perform a comprehensive review prior to data entry to verify consistency between the submitted data and the actual records held by the Authority.
Islam Azzam: Accurate Data Supports Full Integration and Early Risk Detection
Dr. Islam Azzam, Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority, explained that these obligations support regulatory readiness and enable more precise analysis of indicators, allowing the Authority to anticipate potential risks and manage challenges efficiently.
Azzam pointed out that the regular flow and auditing of data accelerate the Authority's plan to achieve full integration between the databases of supervised companies and the Authority's central database. This ensures real-time information availability for market participants and helps companies rapidly develop financial products to meet the growing needs of consumers.
Complementing Real-Time Database Integration Decisions for Consumer Financing Companies
This new circular complements Resolution No. 2684 of 2026, implemented on September 24, which mandated consumer financing companies to establish the technological infrastructure required to connect their databases in real time with the Authority's database.
The data required for immediate access includes:
Customer Data: Instantly upon financing approval.
Transactions: Real-time details of product purchases and services obtained.
Classifications and Solvency: Classification of financed goods and services, customer categorization based on payment regularity, and company financial solvency indicators.
All these measures aim to enhance the Authority's risk analysis and supervisory tools, positively impacting the stability and efficiency of non-banking financial markets.
