Expansion to New Platforms

Meta has rolled out its AI assistant, Muse, to iPad devices just a month after its iPhone launch. According to Sensor Tower estimates, the app has surpassed 6.6 million installs across iOS and Android since its launch on September 8.

Managing Productivity and Tasks via Connectors

The app allows users to link their digital accounts so the agent can handle daily tasks such as managing emails, tracking meetings, and making purchases. Meta has expanded its Connectors feature to include platforms like Asana, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, Zoom, Notion, and Granola, giving users greater control over their data and productivity.

E-Commerce and Direct Action

Meta has bolstered the assistant's capabilities by integrating it with major retailers, including Walmart, Best Buy, and Sephora, enabling it to complete purchases directly on behalf of the user.

Overcoming Technical Hurdles and Site Coordination

To prevent Muse from being blocked as an automated bot on certain websites, Meta is collaborating with tech companies to develop an open standard. This standard will help platforms distinguish trusted AI agents and allow them to operate securely.
