e-Finance Shares Continue Investment Surge on Egyptian Exchange, Gaining EGP 6.34 Billion in a Week

Strong Market Cap Growth Despite Shortened Trading Sessions

e-Finance for Digital and Financial Investments’ stock posted notable gains on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) for the second consecutive week, climbing 7.82%. The surge added approximately EGP 6.34 billion to the company’s market capitalization, driven by a clear rebound in liquidity and trading volumes.

Despite trading being restricted to four sessions due to the Armed Forces Day holiday, the share price rose to EGP 25.23 by week's end, up from EGP 23.40 the previous week—a gain of EGP 1.83 per share. Consequently, the company's market cap jumped to EGP 87.464 billion, compared to EGP 81.120 billion a week earlier.

Remarkable Surge in Trading Volumes and Values

The stock recorded intense investment activity, with 20.013 million shares traded for a total value exceeding EGP 488.43 million, compared to 10.528 million shares worth EGP 236.76 million the prior week. This reflects a trading volume increase of 9.485 million shares and a liquidity jump of EGP 251.67 million over four sessions.

The company's issued capital stands at EGP 1.733 billion, distributed over 3.466 billion shares with a par value of EGP 0.50 per share.

e-Finance Ownership Structure

The Saudi Egyptian Investment Company leads the ownership structure with a 25.75% stake, followed by the National Investment Bank at 21.81%, Banque Misr at 6.90%, and the National Bank of Egypt at 6.70%. Egyptian Banks Company and the Egyptian Company for Investment Projects hold 6.70% each, while the remaining 25.44% is distributed among other shareholders and entities.
