Strategic Alliance Between El Araby and Molben Engineering

El Araby Group has signed a strategic partnership agreement with South Africa’s Molben Engineering, a specialist in metal component fabrication and automotive body parts. This partnership aims to establish a joint production base for manufacturing metal automotive parts, serving the domestic market and expanding into African markets.

Official Signing Ceremony with Government Presence in El Alamein

The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the Automotive Investment Forum in Africa hosted in El Alamein, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, and Eng. Khaled Hashem, Minister of Industry. Eng. Mohamed Abdel Geid El Araby, Chief Executive Officer of Industrial Operations at El Araby Group, signed the agreement, highlighting the group's strategy to strengthen its presence in feeder industries and promising growth sectors.

Global Expertise and Advanced Technologies

The partnership combines El Araby Group’s industrial, engineering, and technological capabilities with Molben Engineering’s over 50 years of expertise in metal stamping, robotic welding, and electro-coating. The South African firm is a direct supplier to major global automakers, including Ford, which will help transfer advanced technologies and enhance local manufacturing.

Leveraging the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA)

The new manufacturing base aligns with national efforts to increase local content in the automotive industry while maximizing trade and customs benefits offered by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to access regional markets.
