A Remarkable Athletic Achievement and Preparation for the Arab Arena

Tamweely Financial Services achieved exceptional results during its fourth consecutive participation in the 59th edition of the Republic Corporate Championship (2026). Athletes with and without disabilities secured 17 trophies and 175 medals across various sports, consolidating the company's athletic standing and paving the way for its upcoming participation in the Arab Corporate Championship.

Honoring Champions in the Presence of Sports Federation Leaders

The company organized a ceremony to honor participating employees from various governorates. The event was attended by Mohamed Osman Haroun, President of the Egyptian Corporate Sports Federation, and Counselor Ismail Abdel Hakim, Secretary-General of the Federation, who congratulated the athletes, coaching staff, and management on their outstanding performance.

Absolute Dominance by Athletes with Disabilities

Tamweely’s athletes with disabilities topped the overall rankings with 119 points, claiming the championship shield. Key results included:

Powerlifting: First-place trophy and 8 gold medals for women; second-place trophy and 10 silver medals for men.

Track and Field: First-place trophy and 15 gold medals for women; second-place trophy and 24 silver medals for men.

Table Tennis: Three first-place trophies and gold medals for men's standing/seated and women's standing teams, along with a second-place trophy and silver medals for women's seated team.

Sitting Volleyball: First place for the women's team and second place for the men's team.

Swimming: First-place trophy for the men's competition and individual gold medals.

Outstanding Performance in Able-Bodied Competitions and Corporate Olympics

In the able-bodied categories, the men's futsal team won first place and gold medals, while the boxing team took second place and karate finished third. The men's and women's track and field and cross-country teams earned top placements and medals, alongside achievements by masters swimmers. In the Corporate Olympics, Tamweely finished fifth overall with 47 points, despite competing in only four events.
